Sanchin Ryu Bujutsu New Zealand

Sanchin Ryu Bujutsu is a school of martial arts that is situated in West Auckland, New Zealand. We believe that Martial Arts training should be balanced and aim to train mind, body and spirit. Sanchin Ryu students learn to defend themselves using karate Jitsu (Empty hand art), Ai Joumae Jitsu (Joint lock art) and Jounai Jitsu (On the Ground art). Sanchin Ryu has evolved from many years of many martial arts (Bujutsu), which aims to provide an effective and contemporary way of self-defence as well as being relevant under New Zealand law. Sanchin Ryu also draws from the traditional arts as to teach the virtues, qualities and morality of martial arts. Sanchin Ryu is a member of the Internation Koryu Bujutsu society in New Zealand and is an affiliated dojo with Fudoshin Ryu Bujutsu.
