Kempo was developed in Okinawa near China and Japan and has influences from both. We specialise in pressure points to sharpen the body weapons. We learn to heal with point massage (Shiatsu) and resuscitation (Kuatsu) and hurt with hitting (Atemi) and locking (Tuite). There are twenty four forms starting with the simpler japanese types going backwards in time to the more complex chinese types. A great influence is the White Crane Fist (Bai He Quan) in the advanced forms. The three chief instructors have over 100 years of shared experience and black belts in other arts. This is a deep, intelligent and merciful art only recently uncovered because of its dangerous and esoteric nature.
